For the Sake of Freedom in Benin : Set Andoche Amegnisse Free

Allegedly condemned for contravening to the legislation on press, but in reality for having written and published in his bulletin TSYB 2011 ( Anything but Yayi Boni in 2011), that “ Mr YAYI BONI BEATS HIS WIFE” Mr Andoche Amegnisse the president of the Forgotten People’s Union (ULC) has been thrown in jail on Friday 14/11/2008. This inequitable and authoritarian political reaction befitting dictatorial regimes does not honour our country and our young democracy. It is against the ideals of the Democratic Revival. We firmly condemn this tyrannical drive of the regime of the “change.” We demand the immediate liberation of our fellow countryman. And we call on all Democrats in Benin and all over the world so that they rise against this unbearable violation of the freedom of expression and political rights in Benin by the regime of President Yayi Boni
