Mission in Benin

  One of the Taizé brothers living in Dakar was invited to take part in leading retreats for pastors and committed lay people of the Methodist Church of Benin, the most important Protestant Church in the country. It proved to be a fairly unique experience in African Protestantism, all the more so as the days of silence and reflexion were welcomed - and with what generosity! - in a small monastery of Benedictine sisters.
